Who I am

I am a follower of Christ, a child of God, a gimp, pediatric resident, writer, dreamer and admirer of the theatre. I am I sister to two remarkable young women and the oldest of 10 grandchildren. My life is a cross between a medical drama and a dark comedy. In previous chapters of my life, I discovered my first calling in life to serve as an advocate for the disabled and children. I have spent three out of the last seven summers/periods of time working in two different nations in Eastern Europe and in East Africa serving children, learning about God, medicine, life, the world’s beauty and its horrors. When I finish growing up and obtaining a lofty education, I want to work full time overseas serving orphans and disabled children and sharing Christ.
