Apparently only pediatricians smile..

I don’t have time to blog…for real b/c instead of studying I was busy all afternoon with pre-op stuff.

However I want to make an observation that not a single physician I met during all my pre-op assessment smiled. They all had the most dour expressions on their faces. I mean I suppose its not the most cheerful thing in the world to be prepping someone for surgery but come on people, its not a wake. The world is not ending.

basically, I am going to defer to Bethany’s quote: Internal Medicine doctors are too smart to smile…I am not sure what the Anesthesiologist’s issue was but he didn’t smile either.

Did I mention I basically am not considering anything but peds, peds sub-specalities or family?
